'It took a long time but Wendy finally met a nice guy after moving to Chicago a few years ago to work with Stedman,' says the source.  Stedman's management and marketing company, S. Graham & Associates is based in Chicago.Wendy has also worked for Oprah's company, Harpo Productions.

'Wendy met Bradley through mutual friends and they immediately hit it off and began to spend a lot of time together,' says the source.

'But once they started to get serious Wendy was concerned about their age difference, he's 13 years younger than her and their cultural differences as well.'

'Wendy was used to being an independent woman and didn't want someone telling her what to do and of course, having Oprah Winfrey as your 'stepmother' makes it a little difficult to be a wall flower.
