Britney Spears is putting on a brave face in the wake of her split from Charlie Ebersol.

The 33-year-old is focusing on her family, and on Friday shared a photo with the youngest of her two children, Jayden James.

The Instagram shot showed Britney cuddled up to the eight-year-old with a huge grin on her face.

The pop star wore an oversized straw hat, along with large sunglasses and a white camisole style top.

Britney had earlier posted a photo of Jayden cuddling up to a big dog, and told her followers that they were spending the day in Malibu.

The singer also has nine-year-old son Sean Preston. The boys' father is her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Us Weekly claimed on Monday that Britney and 32-year-old film producer Charlie had split after eight months of dating.

They were last seen together in public at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17, where he called her 'the most beautiful' woman. Both seemed to be in great spirits as they smiled side by side on the red carpet.

And it doesn't seem to be the most smooth of break-ups, as the Toxic hit maker has deleted all photos of her ex from her Instagram account.
