Fallon shared a photo of his cast on Twitter Friday evening, and wrote; 'Tripped and caught my fall (good thing)! Ring caught on side of table almost ripped my finger off (bad thing).'

The funnyman, who also joked that he was 'tweeting with one hand,' also added that he was 'drugged' and 'blessed.'

Interacting and partying with fans is nothing new for Fallon, making his night out on Thursday par for the course for the popular host.

He is frequently seen at restaurants and bars around the city, and always happy to pose with fans and have a few drinks.

In a 2014 profile in New York, Fallon even admitted to enjoying the time he gets with some of his more inebriated fans after being approached by a few, telling the writer; 'In L.A. you wouldn’t get those two drunk people coming up to me.'

Diego, a worker at Scalinatella, told CBS News of Fallon; 'He doesn't drink so much. Usually just a glass or a half of a glass of wine and enjoys himself.'

The NBC host married Nancy Juvonen in December 2007 and together they have 22-month-old Winnie and five-month-old Frances, who were both born via a surrogate.

Fallon recently explained that he worked hard to ensure Frances' first word would be 'Dada', telling Parents magazine recently that he even tried to trick her.

He told the publication, 'I loved reading to Winnie, and at the time I came up with the book it was important to me that her first word be "Dada."

'I went as far as to try to trick her into saying "Dada" by calling everything "Dada" from her bottle to diapers to strawberries.'

The star, who earns $11 million a year according to TV Guide, confessed that his eldest daughter Winnie said 'Mama' as her first word, encouraging him to try harder with Frances.

'I just thought it would be a cute story when people asked, "What was the baby’s first word?"' he told the magazine.

'I wanted to say, "It was ‘Dada. She loves her Dada." And everyone would go "aww." But sadly, "Mama" was her first word. That’s why I invented this book, so hopefully other dads can trick their kids.' he joked.

The comedic star is currently promoting his new book Your Baby's First Word Will Be Dada.
