She's made it no secret that she is proud of her heritage.

So it came as no surprise that Eva Longoria was all smiles as she enjoyed a night out with family.

Exiting Mr Chow in Beverly Hills on Thursday evening, the 40-year-old actress put on a loving display as she held hand with one of her relatives.

Leading the way out of the popular high-end Chinese restaurant, Eva held hands with the young boy as they were greeted by waiting photographers.

As they stood waiting for their car to come round, the Desperate Housewives star planted a kiss on the boy's head as she wrapped her arms around him.

In good spirits, Longoria also flashed her pearly whites as the family appeared to share a joke.

Looking as stylish as always, Eva opted to don double demin by teamed a light-wash spotted shirt with a pair of white skinny jeans.

Adding height to her petite frame, Longoria wore tan coloured caged heels as she accessorised with a leather taupe side bag and several pieces of jewellery.

Wearing her dark hair up in a chic doughnut bun, the American actress went for winged eyeliner and blush pink lips.

The night out served as a break from Longoria's latest movie role in Low Riders.

Low Riders takes an in-depth look at the lives of low-riding enthusiasts in Southern California's Latino communities.

Directed by Ricardo de Montreuil, the upcoming drama will see Eva star alongside Melissa Benoist, Theo Rossi, Tony Revolori, Demián Bichir, Cress Williams and Yvette Monreal.
