If you're going to make your first public outing in many months, why not do it at one of the world's most high profile festivals?

International starlet Adele made an extremely rare appearance among the revellers on Saturday afternoon as she hit Worthy Farm in Somerset.

The mum of one, 27, was styled perfectly for the event in a bohemian smock top and large shades - but had very little luck in disguising herself.

Well look who got out of her shell and decided to step into Glastonbury. The 27-year-old singer looked festival ready in her boho wardrobe.

The star never strays from her favorite color (black) even in the summer heat. Adele wore a black frilly blouse with heavy bead and sequin detailing over black jeans and leather ankle boots, and for the cherry on top? Her gorgeous Chanel cross-body bag.

It might be too hot for long sleeved blouses but we love her style, and it is quite fitting for the event. Although, we are in love with her blouse, it's all about the bag.

Her maroon-brown Chanel bag brings out the colors in her blouse and we just love the bag in general..even if it didn't match (yes, you read that correctly, even if it didn't match an outfit we would still love it!)

Adele looked slender in flattering black jeans, worn with field-appropriate ankle boots and layered up the look with her long, full-skirt festival top.

Formerly recognised as a brunette, Adele showed off much lighter locks and a messy of-the-moment long bob hairstyle.

She carried a tall cider cup and seemed to be enjoying the music in the field, watching one of the weekend sets intently in amongst the other festival goers.

Adele has not released her own music since October 2012 when she made a comeback with anthemic James Bond theme tune Skyfall, which won her an Academy Award.

But since becoming a mother to two-year-old Angelo with boyfriend Simon Konecki and reaching meteoric heights with her singing career, Adele is rarely ever seen at star-studded events.

She moved to the countryside with her partner, who she has been with since 2011, and chose to live a very low key lifestyle - far removed from her celebrity status.

The singer has been teasing new music for the last three years and made a very minor return to the spotlight in May when she channeled her musical idol George Michael on her birthday.

Adele then gushed about meeting Stevie Nicks at a Fleetwood Mac gig later on that month, proving that she'd been paying plenty of attention to her musical inspirations of late.

Choosing to enjoy the second day of the festival on Saturday, Adele can looked forward to performances from Kanye West (who headlines the Pyramid Stage), Pharrell Williams (gracing the stage just before him), George Ezra and Jessie Ware.

It was this week reported that the starlet has been working with chart dominator Pharrell on her third album, which was originally due for release earlier this year.

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest at Cannes Lions on Wednesday, the Happy hitmaker claimed that it was 'beautiful' son Angelo who was impeding her recording commitments - because she just couldn't tear herself away.

'She's kinda like, "OK guys, I'm gonna open my diary for 20 minutes" So it's like, OK, you have 20 minutes, or 32 minutes really.

'Then she gives it to you and closes it up and disappears, and she's off with her beautiful boy – and that's what it's all about.'
