An alleged stalker with a 'delusional obsession' with Lindsay Lohan has been given a restraining order not to contact the star.

Daniel Vorderwulbecke, 37, claimed he was the star's husband and the Queen's nephew, thought the Mean Girls star was staying at the celebrity haunt Chiltern Firehouse and staff were keeping him and his wife apart.

He harassed the reservations manager and then damaged a door at the exclusive restaurant haunt and a bin at the theatre where Lohan was rehearsing in June last year.

Daniel Vorderwulbecke (left, outside Westminster Magistrates Court yesterday), 37, claimed he was Lindsay Lohan's (right) husband and the Queen's nephew, thought the Mean Girls star was staying at the celebrity haunt Chiltern Firehouse and staff were keeping him and his wife apart

At Westminster Magistrates Court yesterday, the German national was banned from contacting Lohan indirectly or directly, or by any electronic means and not to come within 100 metres of her.

He was also banned from contacting any member of Chiltern Firehouse staff or coming within 100m of the establishment.

He was also given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months and made subject to a mental health treatment requirement for 12 months for harassment of Chiltern Firehouse reservations manager Lauren Pearce and the two counts of criminal damage.

Although Vorderwulbecke had also been accused of allegedly stalking Ms Lohan, charges were dropped when she failed to return from the US to give evidence after completing a community service order for motoring offences.

Part of Lohan's written statement read out in court said: 'I feel very unsafe because of his threatening behaviour.

'I have become nervous and am continually looking over my shoulder to make sure I am not being followed.'

Sentencing Vorderwulbecke, District Judge Tan Ikram said: 'You have been found guilty after trial of two counts of criminal damage and of harassment of Lauren Pearce.

'You have previous convictions in Germany, some of which involved violence, and for which you were given suspended sentences.

'These offences are particularly serious not just because of their nature but also their frequency.

'Miss Pearce told me she was frightened and your emails were threatening, abusive and sinister.

'On one occasion, she had to be escorted by her partner such was the fear raised by your actions.

'It is accepted by all that your actions were motivated by what can only be described as an obsession with Lindsey Lohan.'

The court heard Vorderwulbecke believed Lohan was staying at the Chiltern Firehouse and Ms Pearce began receiving emails from him in June last year.

She offered to put him on the waiting list when he requested a reservation, but was then sent up to 60 emails which became increasingly bizarre and threatening, addressing her as 'Dear Lauren'.

He attached copies of marriage licences from the USA and CCd in people ranging from US President Barack Obama to the Metropolitan Police.

At an earlier hearing, she told Westminster Magistrates Court, appearing via video link: 'He blamed the Chiltern Firehouse for keeping him and his wife Lindsay apart. He said the Chiltern Firehouse was standing between him and his wife.'

The court also heard that Vorderwulbecke damaged a £100 cigarette bin at the Playhouse Theatre on September 6 and the locking mechanism on a door at the Chiltern Firehouse on September 11 causing £200 worth of damage.

He also appeared at the Playhouse Theatre where he left a bizarre series of gifts for Lohan including tampons, food, pictures and notes.

Prosecutor Abigail Welsh said: 'The Chiltern Firehouse is a restaurant popular with high-profile celebrities and he tried to make reservations for himself and his wife who he claimed was Lindsay Lohan.

'The reservation team were aware of Miss Lohan but not the defendant and he did not meet the reservation requirements.

'His emails became threatening, desperate and abusive. We say that this stems from an obsession with Lindsay Lohan.'

A previous hearing heard that in other emails he described himself as the grandson of the world king and world queen and said his 'friends president Barack Obama and Michelle Obama' would like to see him.

He also asked if he could have a DJ residency at the Chiltern Firehouse

Vorderwulbecke, who describes himself as King Lionheart, also said he was related to the Queen of England, saying his 'aunt Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace was keen for me to move into Buck Palace,' but he would prefer to stay at the Chiltern Firehouse.

Later the emails became threatening: 'You idiot I seek revenge, it's payback time you can kiss my a**e, Lindsay and I have revenge.'

He also said he owned the Chiltern Firehouse in Chiltern Street in Marylebone and was worried it was being run as a 'red light' venue.

In one of the last emails, he wrote: 'F*** you Chiltern Firehouse, I am owner, Lilo is my wife I am closing down the place and calling the riot police if my wife is not a virgin, if it is a sex club and my wife is no longer a virgin you will regret it you will pay with your life.

'I will kill you all, seek revenge on you all - let the battle begin.'
