Billie Piper evidently didn't have any qualms about muddying her elegant silk slip dress on Saturday afternoon as she hit the fields of Worthy Farm in dirty wellie boots and grass stains.

Accompanied by brightly-coloured beau Laurence Fox, Billie was identifiable by her signature messy tresses that acted as the perfect accompaniment to a laidback Glastonbury ensemble.

The Because We Want To singer dressed for both the sunshine and the showers with her sunglasses on, and the heavy duty boots.

Billie seemed to be in a playful mood as she and her actor husband entered into a joke altercation at the bar before walking off arm-in-arm.

He enjoyed a throwback moment when he rolled up his sleeves on a hippie-inspired tie-dye T-shirt that was hard to miss in the field.

The cute couple, who were married eight years ago, put their relationship to the ultimate test when they endured a weekend at one of the world's biggest festivals.

On Friday, Billie proved that she was in it for the long haul and toted a large suitcase and overnight bag in preparation for staying in the Somerset countryside location.

She was in high spirits, smiling as she got stuck into festival life in a pair of stylish over-the-knee boots.

Little did she know that the annual music lovers' paradise would later be marred by a torrential downpour that saw wellingtons and waterproofs become the norm.

Fox has resumed filming on ITV drama Lewis, with co-star Kevin Whateley, after producers push back filming to accomodate his jam-packed schedule.

The actor, who plays Detective Inspector James Hathaway, has been simultaneously working on a new single following the 2013 release of his first EP, Sorry for My Words.
