He has been dubbed the 'French Elvis' since the beginning of his career.

And singer Johnny Hallyday, 72, looked every inch the rock star as he enjoyed a night out with his glamorous wife Laeticia, 40, at the Saint Laurent show on Monday.

He mingled with stars including Lenny Kravitz, Liam Gallagher and Pierce Brosnan at the menswear spring/ summer collection show which was part of Paris Fashion Week.

Wearing a burgundy and black striped suit over a black T-shirt, Hallyday looked at ease on the front row of the star-studded runway show.

He accessorised his bold look with an ethnic-inspired turquoise and black beaded necklace and navy suede shoes.

Hallyday, who has been married four times, tweeted a picture of him with Kravitz's arm around his shoulder, saying: 'Lenny et Johnny au st Laurent spring summer collection 2016.'

The singer, best know for hits including L'Envie and Que je t'aime, was also joined by his wife of 19 years Laeticia.

She showed off her slender frame in a long coral skirt and matching crop-top which revealed a hint of her toned tummy.

The blonde beauty styled her locks into a high ponytail and accentuated her natural beauty with dark eyeliner and a slick of pink lipstick.

The couple married in 1996 and adopted two Vietnamese baby girls in 2004 and 2008.

Hallyday, who has two adult children from previous relationships, said they decided to adopt as his wife could not have children.

'So she tried desperately for maybe 10 years and then couldn't get any. So we decided to adopt. We have two marvellous little girls from Vietnam and we're very happy with them.'
