They split in 2013 and currently have new respective partners.

But Courteney Cox and David Arquette have remained close over the years and showed just how strong their bond is on Monday.

The two took their 11-year-old daughter Coco out for an Italian lunch at Il Piccolino in West Hollywood.

Though, the 51-year-old actress was spotted leaving separately from David and Coco.

The former Friends star showed off her slim pins in a pair of skinny jeans which she cuffed around her ankles.

She paired the tight trousers with a loose-fitted black and white polka dotted button-down blouse and strappy tan sandals and carried a black leather handbag.

Courteney's brunette locks appeared to be air-dried and flowing down in natural waves, as her eyes were concealed with black plastic-rimmed sunglasses.

Meanwhile, David, 43, dressed down in a striped shirt, navy zip-up sweater, and grey ankle-length trousers.

The scruffy-faced Scream star paired his pieces with black high-top sneakers and shielded his eyes with petite plastic-rimmed sunglasses.

He also accessorised with a long green pendant necklace.

Meanwhile, Courteney has been busy planning her forthcoming nuptials to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid, 38.

Courteney revealed the good news that she and Johnny were engaged last year via Twitter on June 26.

Speaking of her plans, Courteney recently told People: 'We don’t have any plans at the moment. We don't have any firm decisions yet. But it's fun thinking about it and figuring out what to do and when to do it.'

However, sources have told Closer that friends believe the couple may be tying the knot this summer.

'They've invited a bunch of their friends to their Malibu home this summer and there are whispers it’s actually for a secret wedding,' a source told the publication.
