- Prince George arrived for the christening in a red and white outfit
- Ensemble is almost identical to one worn by William 30 years ago
- George, who is two this month, caused smoked set to sell out
Wearing a retro pair of red shorts and clutching his father's hand before treating the crowds of well-wishers to a wave, one-year-old Prince George show at his sister Charlotte's christening on Sunday.
George arrived wearing an outfit by designer Rachel Riley - one of the Duchess of Cambridge's favourite childrenswear designers - which was almost identical to one worn by Prince William to meet his newborn brother Harry for the first time more than thirty years ago.
And it seems that the royal tot, who turns two this month, has the midas touch after the embroidered smock and bold shorts sold out within hours of him making an appearance.

Treat your tot to a traditional romper by Rachel Riley
Once again, gorgeous George has melted hearts everywhere! He looked utterly adorable attending his little sister's christening in a sweet romper by Rachel Riley.
The childrenswear designer is clearly a favorite of the Duchess of Cambridge's, as she's kept little George's wardrobe well-stocked with pieces from the brand. A prime example are the now iconic sail boat dungarees the tot was dressed in during the Royal tour of New Zealand.
The label is known for their traditional take on childrenswear, just like this hand-smocked top featuring a vintage-inspired design and matching shorts. But the cutest thing about this romper, is the fact that it's spot on identical to the one Prince William wore when he first met his newly-born brother, Harry.
Kids grow out of clothes fast, making their wardrobes very interchangeable. But it's nice to have a few keepsakes, and this cute set is perfect for that.
According to the designer's website, the £85 outfit has sold out in 12 month and 18 month sizes.
Describing the outfit on the website, the brand say: 'Traditional 2-piece smocked shirt and short set.
'The shirt is hand smocked across the chest with a vintage-inspired design. Matching red shorts with button opening at the side - button onto the shirt for a formal look!'.
For any little boys out there looking to emulate the royal style icon's look, the set is still available in sizes three and six months. It does, however, take six weeks to get your hands on one.

George was making his fourth UK public visit, shortly after an equally scene-stealing appearance at Trooping the Colour in June.
On that occasion, the little boy was seen gleefully clapping his hands as the royal procession rolled past the window from which he and nanny Maria Teresa Burallo were watching.
Later, he was carried out onto the Buckingham Palace balcony for the first time and looked entranced when the traditional flypast soared over his head.
George, who has spent the past two months at Anmer Hall in Norfolk with his parents and baby sister, also made headlines for his appearance outside the Lindo Wing on the day of Charlotte's birth.

Then, dressed in a royal blue jumper that matched his father, he melted hearts with a shy wave and smile for the crowd of photographers and well-wishers assembled outside.
The young prince has become one of the most popular members of the Royal Family since his birth two years ago and is third in line to the throne after his father and grandfather.
This isn't the first time that Prince George has sent sales of childrenswear sky-rocketing. Whilst Crocs have long been deemed a Marmite trend, they're getting set to become the shoe of the summer thanks to a certain royal style icon.
Indeed, the £26.99 Crocs that her son, Prince George, was spotted donning at the Festival of Polo at the Beaufort Polo Club, Gloucestershire, this month sold out within hours.
The royal style icon, who has a track record of sending sales of childrenswear through the roof, caused the Kid's Crocbands he wore to sell out in size 2 online.
The Prince is to credit for bringing little-known brands like luxury children's brand Rachel Riley into the limelight. The dungarees sold out within hours of the images being debuted on the royal tour

The royal tot also wore a £64 Olivier Baby and Kids cashmere cardigan in denim blue with grey. The company are using their famous customer to promote it on their homepage - and, unsurprisingly, it has also sold out.
The item's description reads: 'One of Prince George’s favourite cardigans. This is a must-have for all boys especially after Prince George was spotted wearing his at the polo!
'A classic but fun V-neck cardigan for boys. With a subtle star on the back it’s a stylish but also fun, available up to 9-10 years. Very easy for everyday or perfect with a shirt for smarter occasions.'
A spokesperson for the store told FEMAIL: 'We were thrilled to see photos of Prince George wearing our Olivier Baby & Kids cashmere cardigan with star in denim blue.
'It has now sold out but will be back in stock shortly and is currently available to pre-order. It is also continuing into our AW 15/16 collection available later on in the year.'
