Pre baby number two, pulling moves most people would dare to do even try on a daily basis was no big deal.

But just two and a half weeks since welcoming her son into the world, Hilaria Baldwin feared perhaps her headstand days were behind her.

So even the 31-year-old was left shocked when she was not only able to pull of the tricky yoga move, but was able to do so in a bikini, on a rock over water and surrounded by bees.

Posting a picture of herself on Instagram, the wife of Alec Baldwin showed perfect from - and a perfect post-baby physique - as she balanced on her head with her legs held delicately at symmetrical angles.

Captioning the picture, the television host wrote: 'My first headstand post baby...the scariest part was neither the pool, nor the uneven rock, nor even my weakened core...it was the bees!!

'I'm happy to announce that my 22 month old and my 2 week old still have a mommy #ISurvived #ObviouslyBecauseImInstagramming #ShrinkingBaldwinBabyBump #hilariaypd.'

Hilaria has been using the hashtag 'ShrinkingBaldwinBabyBump' to track her body's changing shape since she had son Rafael, who was born June 16.

And by looks of her flat stomach and perfectly toned legs and arms - which she displayed in a simple black bikini - she has already shrunk herself back.

The yoga instructor has not been shy about showing off her progress, even posting a picture of herself in her underwear just two days after giving birth to her little boy.

Her body diary on social media has left a few fans concerned for Hilaria's methods and questioning if she had a C-section.

In wake of the criticism, Hilaria said on Instagram she plans to write a book as she is a firm believe that you can have your cake and eat it too.

She wrote: 'You can be healthy and splurge too... reading some of the comments makes me think that you feel you cannot do both.

'I went for a nice dinner last night and had coconut sorbet (my favourite) and a glass of wine. This morning I woke up and had a green smoothie...

Posting another picture of her stomach, the star said: 'This is for those of you who are getting into some pretty serious arguments with each other about if I had a c section or not...this should clear it up: as you can see from this pic, I did not have a c section.'

Hilaria recently sat down with the DailyMail.com and revealed while baby Rafael is her second child - she and Alec have daughter Carmen, 22 months - she was still nervous the second time around.

1) I apologize for the weird post and I want to say I am grateful for all the concern I have read on my photo comments. I know they are coming from a good place. 2) This is for those of you who are getting into some pretty serious arguments with each other about if I had a c section or not...this should clear it up: as you can see from this pic, I did not have a c section. 3) The other question has been speculation as to why I stayed in the hospital a few days. Rafael came a little early (nothing extreme) so we just wanted to stay an extra night and make sure all is ok. Due dates are estimates and he came out a healthy weight. I'm actually lucky because given another few weeks, he would have been HUGE! 4) We are overjoyed that we have a healthy little boy and also that I am feeling well. I can never repay my doctor and the nurses who cared for Rafa and me. I'm eternally grateful. ��

But now that her son has arrived, she could not be happier that her family is now complete.

She said: Rafael is such a cute little kid. He and Carmen look alike. He has Alec's nose. They both have my lips and chin. One of his ears is identical to Alec's ear.

'He's very different from Carmen. Rafael is very calm. I can change him as many times as I want. He's a little poser - he puts his hands behind his head and stretches out. Carmen has a fiery personality and this little guy is like, 'I'll do whatever you want me to do, Mom!''
