He's got one of the most distinguishable faces in film - but it seems Daniel Day Lewis is not the only one who shares those bold brows and chiselled cheekbones.

Because the actor's eldest son Gabriel Kane, 20, cut a remarkably similar image on Monday night as he attended the Vogue Paris Foundation Gala at Palais Galliera.

Gabriel, the son of 58-year-old Daniel and actress Isabelle Adjani, 60, is quickly establishing himself as quite the fashion face as he turns his inherited good looks to modelling and music.

Gabriel stood out at the Paris Couture Fashion Week gala in a navy blue suit with black lapels, very similar to the one worn by his father to accept his 2013 Academy Award for Lincoln.

He adopted more of a rugged image and he wore a white collar open, his hair bleached slicked across to reveal a natural dark parting, his laces undone and a crucifix tattoo on his right hand.

The resemblance was striking all the same, as bright blue eyes pierced beneath dark, bushy brows and his cheekbones drew down to a distinguished chin.

Rock and roll: With tattooes down his neck and shades on, the image was quite different from Daniel's

Sharing dinner snaps with his 10k followers, the budding model proved that he could rub shoulders with the stars too and sat beside top model Karlie Kloss before posting a selfie with John Legend.

Still humble, he said: 'Can't believe I got to meet the legend himself ;) He's been such an inspiration to me and my music over the years.'

And as he posed beside American beauty Karlie, the 20-year-old quipped, 'Mademoiselle @karliekloss stealing the spotlight.'

The chiselled blonde has already walked for Alfred Dunhill at Paris Men's Fashion Week and showed up at the Chanel Haute Couture show, Autumn Winter 2015 on Tuesday morning.

Gabriel was born to Daniel and Isabelle, when she shared a six-year relationship with the Last Of The Mohicans actor between 1989 to 1995.

Daniel is said to have announced that he was leaving the actress via fax, though he has never spoken about why he walked out before Gabriel's birth.

The notoriously private actor has only been married once, having finally tied the knot with current partner Rebecca Miller in 1996.

Gabriel now has half brothers Ronan Cal, 16, and Cashel Blake, 12, but remains very close to mother Isabella.

Little is known about Gabriel and Daniel's relationship, though he was there to see his father accept a knighthood in 2014 and wrote a touching ode to his father last father's day via Instragram.
