Teresa Giudice, her husband Joe and their four daughters posed for a family portrait behind bars.

The newly-released image was taken inside the Danbury Prison in Connecticut.

It shows the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, who's 43, with her entire family during a Mother's Day visit on May 10.

Her curly hair had been straightened and carefully styled, suggesting she has access to a few luxury beauty items. (A family portrait released three months ago showed her with natural ringlets.)

She was also wearing make-up and boat shoes with her prison-issued green scrubs.

Teresa is currently serving a 15-month sentence for fraud in the same prison where Orange Is the New Black writer Piper Kerman served time in 2005.

She reached the six-month mark on July 5.

In the just-released photo, the smiling family are posing in front of a colorful flower bed.

Gabrielle, 10, fits right in wearing a dress patterned with bright red, yellow and orange flowers against a dark blue background and she added a denim sleeveless jacket to upscale her look.

Milania, 9, has on a pretty light blue dress with a black band around the waist while littlest daughter Audriana, five, has on a two-tone sundress that has a white bodice and black skirt.

Eldest daughter Gia, 14, stands next to her mom with an arm around her wearing rolled up denims jeans, a stripy blue t-shirt and a white crocheted jacket.

Joe clearly did a great job making sure the girls looked their best for their time with Teresa.

The photo was taken about a month after Joe revealed, in an exclusive interview for DailyMail.com that his wife has made new friends who help her dye and style her brunette locks, work out with her and even do manicures.

'It's kind of like a little low-budget spa,' explained Joe. 'She's got a little group she hangs out with and does her thing with every day, and who she goes to the gym with and who she hangs out with, and who does her hair and who does her nails, they have their little thing going every day.'

The Giudices pleaded guilty in March 2014 to hiding assets from bankruptcy creditors and submitting phony loan applications to get around $5 million in mortgages and construction loans.

Joe also pleaded guilty to failing to pay taxes totaling more than $200,000.

When his wife has completed her sentence, Joe, who was given 41 months behind bars, will begin serving his time in federal prison.

In the meantime, Joe is starring in a Real Housewives spin-off showing how he's handling being a single dad while Teresa is behind bars.

Cameras are already filming for the one-hour special as the Mr. Mom has been learning how to juggle his daughters' schedules so they can maintain their sports and other activities as well as school.

'Days go by quick,' he said in a recent interview. 'They go to school, they come back, they do their homework. Who's gotta go here? Who's gotta go there?'

'They have their little breakdowns here and there,' he told Us Weekly. 'They'll say, 'Daddy, when's she going to be out?' Or 'I miss Mommy.' I just make sure to give them lots of love and a lot of kisses.'

Meanwhile, the same publication reported last week that Teresa Giudice has been writing a journal that will be made into a book to go on sale once she's released from the federal prison.

'She will tell the story everyone is dying to know: what life is like behind bars,' said her attorney James L Leonard Jr.

In an excerpt released to the media, the brunette talked about how she watched the movie Jersey Boys in January and that it made her cry because at the end the main character's daughter dies.

'I was crying and have been very emotional for the rest of the night,' she wrote.

The Bravo star also confessed that she broke down in tears when Audriana asked her if she was coming home or if she could move in with her into the jail.

And she teared up again when Milania asked if she was going to be home for her birthday on February 2.

'That broke my heart,' she said

In the journal Teresa also wrote about exercising all the time, doing yoga and Pilates, and about the prison food she doesn't like.

On January 26, the reality star wrote: 'I had tater tots and a soy burger that was so gross and orange!'

On February 27, which was day 53 of her incarceration, she had a normal day that went like this: 'Woke up at 6:15, went to breakfast at 6:30, had French toast and oatmeal.

'Checked emails, drank my coffee and watched the news. Did yoga at 8:30 till 9:10. At 12:00 to 1:00 they had Black History Show. They had Spanish dancers and rappers and talking about black history and handing out questions about black history.

'Whoever answered those questions right gets a Hershey's candy bar or a pack of tuna.'

Us Weekly also quoted a source that claimed Teresa will be back on Real Housewives Of New Jersey next season and her exit from jail in December will be filmed for the show.
