Bad news: Meghan Trainor, 21, took to Instagram on Monday to announce that she'll be cancelling three more shows on her The MTrain Tour due to a vocal chord hemorrhage
In the video Meghan is seen in the doctor's office as she has her vocal chords inspected.
A TV screen shows the inside of her throat as the doctor examines the damage.
Eventually the doctor says: 'You're going to need significant rest in order to get back into the tour situation...meaning cancel everything.'
Doctor's orders: Dr. Kessler says, 'You're going to need significant rest in order to get back into the tour situation...meaning cancel everything'
The All About That Bass singer captioned the video with a warm apology to her fans:
'I have bad news,' the singer wrote, 'my doctor says I have to postpone two more dates, Detroit & Chicago and sadly I have to cancel my appearance at the Common Ground Music Festival.'
'But there is good news!!' Meghan added. 'I’m feeling much better, have already rescheduled most dates and will come back around to see you all soon!!'
Feeling better: Despite the doctor's bad news, Meghan mentioned in the snap that she's 'feeling much better, have already rescheduled most dates and will come back around to see you all soon!!'; the singer is seen here in May on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
With black and white aerial shots of New York City and a soft guitar song, the video has a poignant tone.
It then shows Dr. Kessler, a Manhattan-based otolaryngologist, viewing Meghan's vocal chords via a screen, which looks like a bottomless eyeball opening and closing.
The singer then sits wearing a Michael Kors hoodie as the doc breaks the bad news.
Sincere apologies: Meghan took to Instagram last week as she shared her deepest apologies to her fans for cancelling her shows in Atlantic City and Connecticut
Just last week the pop singer took to Instagram again as she relayed the news about the hemorrhage and that she'd be cancelling two shows - Atlantic City and Connecticut.
'I don’t want anyone worrying but I have had a hemorrhage on my vocal chords. Right now the doctors want me on complete vocal rest until they are healed so I have to postpone my first two shows in Atlantic City and Connecticut,' she wrote to her more than two million followers on Instagram.
Making it up: But Meghan will be making up her cancelled appearances with September shows in Connecticut, Chicago, Detroit and New Jersey; the pop singer is seen here at a May performance in Paris
Meghan's The MTrain Tour features stops in numerous cities across the country and was scheduled to carry on into September.
In lieu of the now cancelled Detroit, Chicago and Michigan's Common Ground Festival stops, Meghan will be adding make-up shows at the end of the tour.
In the caption for Monday's Instagram video, the singer announced that she'll feature September shows in Connecticut, Chicago, Detroit and New Jersey.
Hitmaker: Meghan rose to fame from her 2014 hit All About That Bass. Since then, the singer has been on a tear with other hits like Lips Are Movin'. Here the singer is seen at her May appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Her follow up single Lips Are Movin' also peaked at number four on the charts.
She scored nine nominations at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards and won in the Top Hot 100 Song and Top Digital Song categories for All About That Bass.
