Proving that at almost 50-years-old she still has what it takes to stop traffic, Cindy Crawford looked extremely chic on Monday.

Stepping out in Malibu for some shopping, Crawford, 49, cut a bohemian inspired figure as she turned back time in a pair of flared jeans.

Hiding her eyes behind a pair of oversized sunglasses, Cindy wore her brunette hair down in an off centre parting.

Crawford donned a retro ensemble which did well to showcase her model frame as she rocked a pair of flared jeans.

Teamed with a thick brown leather belt, the mother-of-two added an ethereal feel to the outfit with the help of a white blouse which featured crocheted detailing.

Opting for minimal make-up, Cindy accessorised with pieces of silver jewellery including a long necklace beautified with a chunky pendant. 

Adding height to her slender frame, Crawford, who will release her debut book Becoming this September, wore a pair of tan leather wedges.

A chocolate reptile skin handbag finished the Illinois born beauty's outfit.

Meanwhile Cindy's husband businessman Rande Gerber, 53, who she has been married to for 17 years, recently revealed the secret to their long and happy union. 

'We started as friends and we remained friends,' he said in an interview with ET. 'You have to just keep that friendship and fun in the relationship.'

The couple are parents to two children, 15-year-old Presley Walker and 13-year-old Kaia Gerber.
