Dancing with a star! Tom Cruise sparks fireworks in Nashville as he celebrates Independence Day with locals during solo visit to the country music capital
It was just an average Fourth of July hoe-down until Tom Cruise came to town.
The Mission: Impossible star rode into Nashville solo over the holiday weekend and proceeded to engage in some Independence Day partying with surprised locals.
Tom, 53, happily danced with the ladies lining up for a chance to get up close and personal and patiently posed for photos with excited fans.

Even the rainy weather couldn't dampen folks spirits as they thrilled to the sight of a bona fide Hollywood mega-star among them.
Wearing a black shirt, the Mission: Impossible star was pictured at various locations around the city and appeared to be accompanied only by his driver and security.
His decision to forgo sunglasses or otherwise try and disguise himself clearly indicated he was happy to be recognized.
According to a report on TMZ Monday, Tom was spotted not only chatting with an assortment of women but also dancing to country music, drinking champagne and heading for the taco and slider station.

Pinch yourself: Tom, who made no effort to disguise himself, seemed to have great fun making everyone's day
One place he visited was the popular Acme Feed & Seed entertainment spot where he joined folks on the rooftop for the holiday firework display.
A source told TMZ that the single actor 'was incredibly charming and polite to everyone who spoke to him.'
Nashvilleans also took to social media to heap praise on the Top Gun star for being so nice.
It's not known why he was in Nashville or where he was headed but he has been busy lately filming the CIA drama Mena in the neighboring state of Georgia.
