Clarke paired the red number with matching scarlet lips and a short asymmetrical side bob.

Forgoing a safe and sturdy footwear option, the actress went fashion forward with a pair of shiny silver heels.

Also on the red carpet was Clarke's co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger, the face of the franchise, who wore a classic black suit.

Among receiving poor reviews, the film just couldn't stand up to the success of Jurassic World and Pixar's Inside Out - even when both films had came out a few weeks prior.

Even after the poor box office showing, Emilia and Arnold continue to promote.

And Emilia has been a trooper through the experience as she has been seen recently on the red carpet while rocking her crutches.

For a while Emilia's injury was a mystery but the star eventually broke her silence to BBC Radio 1.

'I’ve got a stress fracture on my hip,’ she said. ‘I want to say it was like from Parkour or something but in reality I just slipped – it was really boring, but by the end of the press tour I’m going to come up with the sickest story.’

While on her recent press tours, Clarke has discussed more than just the new film, including her personal love interests.

During a Moviefone 'Unscripted' chat, the 28-year-old was asked what would happen if her Game Of Thrones and Terminator: Genisys characters had a girls' night out.

'Ryan Gosling might be there just because I think they both would think he was really hot,' the Queen of dragons said. She also had mentioned not being opposed to 'something sexual' with Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan.

And Channinng even reponded to the proposal while on Howard Stern: 'Oh c'mon what guy in their right mind but yeah look I would put on some loincloths and some swords or whatever to make it happen. I'll find a dragon if you guys really want me to, I'll figure it out.'

Her role in Terminator Genisys was Clarke's highest profile movie appearance to date, as she is most widely known for playing Khaleesi on HBO's Game of Thrones.

But the actress is excited to move past her role on television and on to a more wide-ranging set of characters.

Last week, during an interview with Metro, Clarke said: 'Television gave me a boost, but I don’t want people to remember me as Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones.'

And the actress has more upcoming film appearances - aside from with her touted Game of Thrones role - with the feel good Me Before You and the thriller View From The Stone.

Not a one trick pony: In a recent interview with Metro, Clarke expressed her desire to break away from her famous role as Khaleesi on HBO's Game of Thrones. 'Television gave me a boost, but I don’t want people to remember me as Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones,' she said.
