She is always on-trend with her fashion choices.

But actress Jessica Alba cut a particularly chic figure when she stepped out at Paris Fashion Week on Monday afternoon.

The acclaimed screen star perfectly walked a line between smart and casual as part of the French capital's highlight of the fashion calendar.

Pictured leaving her hotel in Le Marais district, the critically acclaimed actress looked stylish in a classic black and white outfit.

Comprising of a skirt and over-sized shirt, the 34 year-old was typically understated in the monochrome ensemble, which deftly flattered her figure.  

She capped the look with a pair of heeled sandals and designer sunglasses for an urbane, classic aesthetic.

Keeping her hair in-keeping with the relaxed theme of the rest of her outfit, she wore her brunette locks loose around her shoulders. 

Carrying a leather handbag on her shoulder, she accessorised appropriately - and, as a result, turned heads as she navigated the city.

Jessica arrived in the city just 24 earlier, having flown in with a pal, accommodated herself at the glitzy Hotel Plaza Athénée - which sports five-star views of the most famous landmarks in the city of love.

The star, who married film producer Cash Warren in 2008, made sure to get some quality time with her family before she jetted off with her friend.

Jessica was seen looking the picture of a regular middle-class mother, as she took her daughters on a bike ride through Malibu last week.

The actress who last made an appearance on the silver screen in the Entourage movie is obviously making the most of her free-time in-between her busy schedule this year.

She is due to star in a series of up-coming films - including forthcoming horror flick The Veil, which will be her first in that genre since 2008's The Eye.
