And on Monday Gigi Hadid showed she always has work at the forefront of her mind even when she is enjoying downtime with friends.

Hitting Sunset Beach on New York's Shelter Island, the 20-year-old took the opportunity to lark around and strike a few poses on the sand.

Laughing and joking with a male and female pal, she looked to be enjoying herself as she pulled some photo moves.

First the blonde stood in a strong stance with her legs wide set and grasped her peach shawl around her. Wearing a white T-shirt and shorts, she had her locks tied up in a messy bun.

Smiling she then let her hair down as she rearranged her sunglasses for the next shot with her brunette friend.

The couple then appeared to pose for a photo with Gigi raising her hand in the air in a victory style salute as her pal leaned in towards her.

They could have been pretending to perform a song as well from their moves.

Making the most of the evening light, Gigi then joked around with her male friend who was also with them.

She is seen again with her hair pulled up, and her arms around the man as she holds him in a neck embrace.

Her friend is trying to stifle a laugh as he also holds onto her hands around him.

Gigi has just enjoyed a weekend with Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran, and rumoured new beau Joe Jonas.

The group all hung out together for the 4th July weekend at a lavish mansion and enjoyed a party and celebration.

Taylor was snapped cooking up a storm on the barbecue.

Meanwhile Gigi was seen in a number of Instagram snaps getting cosy with Joe who she is thought to have got together with recently.
