'I had more glamorous plans for myself': Yolanda Foster models for W magazine... as she reveals latest chamber treatment for Lyme disease

She regularly documents her battle with Lyme disease while she gets much needed rest at home.

But Yolanda Foster, 51, is seen in a rare modeling shoot for the August issue of W magazine this week, looking healthy and happy as she poses for the camera on a plush bed.

Revealed on Monday as part of a Ones To Watch feature, the reality star joins several other TV stars for the glamourous photoshoot.

Her daughters, Gigi and Bella Hadid, have become two of the most sought after models in fashion. But now it's Yolanda Foster's turn to show off her skills in front of the camera.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star posed in a fuzzy top and maxi skirt by Carolina Herrera.

Pulled from the Fall 2015 collection, the floor length skirt featured an ombre effect and a large water drop print that resembled polka dots.

Styled with a t-shirt and skater shoes or a plunge top and lace-up heels, the versatile bottom works well for day or night ensembles.

The mother of models Gigi and Bella Hadid revealed she had planned on having a lot more fun when she signed up for Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.

But almost immediately after joining the cast in 2012 she was diagnosed with Lyme disease.

'I had much more glamorous plans for myself, obviously,' she said resignedly.

The mother-of-three is now focusing her energy on raising awareness of the condition through various avenues, including her Instagram page.  

'When I was modeling 30 years ago, we didn't have that,' Yolanda said

'You went around with your portfolio, begging for jobs. Now, these kids establish themselves on social media and they just run with it.'  

The Dutch-American beauty is seen reclining in a patterned white skirt and blouse with blue fur embellishment.

She looks relaxed with a full face of make-up and neatly styled hair as she pets a wide-eyed pup. 

It's in strong contrast to her latest social media photo which she uploaded on Monday showing her receiving Hyperbaric chamber treatment.

Meanwhile, W's photo story also features X-Files star Gillian Anderson, 46, who smolders in lace with glossy waved tresses.

Anderson is gearing up to reprise of Dana Scully in addition to her Hannibal role with NBC.

'The challenge is to keep these women out of Scully. Especially when I’m having equally fearless conversations with other law enforcement officials. Somewhere before the first read, it’ll just click into gear.'

Mindy Kaling is seen in a black evening gown and fur jacket draped on one shoulder in another image as the 36-year-old opens up about her hit sitcom The Mindy Project.

'A lot of people say you shouldn't serialize TV comedy, that you should be able to turn on an episode of, say, Seinfeld and have it stand on its own,

'But it would be hard to have this woman who wants so badly to change in a show that doesn't. I want you to keep checking in with these characters.'

She added: 'She's one of the worst-behaved female leads in the history of television - and that's something I'm proud of.'
