Jacqueline Jossa has once again come to the defence of her fiancé Dan Osborne over the shocking threats he once made to his ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin.

Speaking about the menacing audio, which was leaked earlier this year, Jacqueline admitted that she may never ‘forgive’ her fiancé for threatening to stab the mother of his 17-month-old son, Teddy.

However, she told OK! Magazine that she felt the former TOWIE star had been punished enough for his ill judgement.

Moving on: Jacqueline Jossa has once again come to the defence of her fiancé Dan Osborne over the shocking threats he once made to his ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin

The EastEnders actress said: ‘I've listened to the tapes, I was completely shocked by what I heard.

‘I thought it was disgusting but it's something that we've worked out – he's been punished enough’.

She continued: ‘I don't think I'll ever forgive him for what he said. But at least I understand his reasons why.’

An audio-taped recording - heard by MailOnline and allegedly secretly taken by Megan last November at her home in front of their young son - sees Dan refer to her as his 'property' and threaten her if she moves on with another man.

He is heard saying: 'I swear on this boy’s life I will end your f****** life if you sh*g another man. Never in your f****** life are you going to be with another man. I can swear on my son’s life.'

Shut your f****** mouth you f****** c***. If you go near another man I promise you I will stab you in the f****** throat.'

Dan made similar threats of physical violence in another recording, released three weeks before, but in the second release, Megan can be heard exclaiming, 'Ow, get off me!' and tells Dan to stop 'hitting' her until she seems distressed and in tears. There is no proof that Dan actually hits Megan in the recording.

Dan can be heard telling Megan that she can't get a new boyfriend even though he's made another woman pregnant because that was a 'mistake' and he didn't 'mean' to get 22-year-old Jacqueline pregnant.

Dan issued an apology for his words and has since been let go from popular reality show, The Only Way Is Essex.

The reality star was recently spotted running errands in Loughton, Essex, where he picked up a few items for his five-month-old daughter, Ella.

Jacqueline and Dan are now looking ahead to their upcoming wedding after the pair became engaged in June.
