She spent Friday of the July 4th weekend partying up a storm at her palatial Rhode Island mansion with boyfriend Calvin Harris and a host of celebrity pals.

But by Tuesday, Taylor Swift was back to work as she performed the latest date in her 1989 World Tour at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Taylor, 25, put her physique on display in variety of stylish ensembles as she once again put on a show to remember.

Taylor's stage attire varies wildly from thigh-skimming shorts to futuristic foil skirts, but one thing remains: they serve to showcase her enviable figure.

One eye-catching number is a figure-hugging sparkling bodysuit with a nude neckline panel and matching heeled booties.

There are several crop tops of choice, which feature sparkly embellishment or luminous encrusted panels.

Other stage costumes embrace a more feminine look, as leggy Swift performed songs in a number of flirty foil skater skirts in blue and purple.

The cast of X-Men: Apocalypse and The Art of More were present. Nicholas Hoult, Sophier Turner, Rose Byrne and Kate Bosworth had a VIP section at the end of the cat walk.

Photos posted to social media by those in attendance made it clear that the weekend was filled with everything from cake to swimsuits to patriotic cakes.

Gigi and Joe apparently brought some incredible party favours for the guests, providing American flag-decorated onesies for everyone.

A photo posted by Martha made it clear that everyone got into the proper holiday spirit in those clothes.

Considering the beautiful models and other celebrities present at the party, it may not be surprising that some - like Gigi and Taylor in a photo posted by the former - even managed to look sexy in fancy pajamas.

'Star spangled blondies,' Gigi wrote to caption the photo, which also showed Martha.

The group changed out of their onesies for some baking, perhaps not wanting to get icing all over those special outfits.

A second photo showed the finished project - Taylor's younger brother, Austin, lit sparklers atop a sheet cake decorated to look like a flag with icing and fruit.

Ed's appearance at the shindig gave Taylor an excuse to make a dig at the expense of British-American relations.

'When Ed shows up in a red coat for the 4th of July because he just can't let it go,' Taylor wrote to caption an Instagram on Saturday.

In the picture, the defiant singer posed proudly in a red military jacket of the type that might have been worn by the British army during the American Revolution.

As for Taylor and Calvin, romance was heating up during the party.
