Prosecutors say 12-year-old will be charged as an adult with first-degree murder for 'shooting dead 31-year-old drug dealer'
- Jarrell Milton, 12, was arrested Tuesday night in Minneapolis, Minnesota
- The pre-teen had been missing ever since the June 29 shooting of a 31-year-old drug dealer in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska
- Investigators believe Jarrell, his 17-year-old brother and a 15-year-old friend lured Jamymell Ray to a park and then shot him dead
- The three are also accused of shooting Charles Fisher, 30, in the attack, which prosecutors believe was gang related
- Prosecutors say they plan to charge all three suspects as adults
Caught: Jarrell Milton (above), 12, was arrested in Minneapolis, Minnesota Tuesday night, more than a week after allegedly shooting dead a 31-year-old drug dealer in Omaha, Nebraska
A 12-year-old boy wanted for the murder of a 31-year-old drug dealer has been arrested, after more than a week on the run.
Pre-teen fugitive Jarrell Milton was arrested Tuesday night in Minneapolis, Minnesota - nearly 400 miles from the Omaha, Nebraska park where suspected drug dealer Jamymell Ray was gunned down in broad daylight on June 29.
Prosecutors said Wednesday that they plan to charge Jarrell and two teen accomplices with first-degree murder as adults.
'All three suspects had guns. There were shell casings from two different types of guns at the scene,' Douglas County District Attorney Don Kleine said, adding that the victim was shot at close range.
Authorities have not yet revealed how the 12-year-old got to Minnesota, or whether anyone will face charges for helping the boy get there.
However, it has been revealed that the boy's father, Javaris Milton, has lived in the state.
WOWT reports that Jarrell's mother Iyanna Moss was convicted for felony assault when he was a toddler. When she went to prison, Jarrell and his six other siblings were sent to live in an Omaha foster home, while their father was living in Minnesota. It's unclear if Milton is still currently living in the state.

Serious charges: Jarrell's brother Jamar Milton, 17 (left), and Shuntayvious Primes-Wills, 15 (right), were charged earlier Tuesday with first-degree murder in connection to the June 29 shooting. Both were denied bail
The Omaha Police Department says they got a tip about Jarrell's whereabouts Tuesday evening, and informed the U.S. Marshals in Minnesota.
Jarrell was allegedly found walking around a suburb, near a housing project.
Jarrell will be extradited back to Nebraska to be arraigned, and prosecutors say they are pushing to charge the boy and the two other underage accomplices as adults.
Earlier on Tuesday, Jarrell's brother Jamar, 17, and Shuntayvious Primes-Wills, 15, appeared in court where they were formally charged with first-degree murder and denied bond.
Police believe the boys lured Ray and his friend Charles Fisher, 30, to the park claiming they wanted to purchase marijuana and then opened fire.
'It's incomprehensible. It's unbelievable when you think of somebody who's 12 years old, seventh grade or sixth grade, and being charged with murder for having a gun - approaching somebody and using that firearm with two other people that also had firearms,' said Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine.
'All of it's even impossible to imagine that it's even a possibility.'
Ray did not survive the attack. Fisher was taken to the hospital where he was treated for injuries and released.
Prosecutors believe the shooting was gang related, and say that despite their ages, they plan to charge all three as adults.
They also said there is a possibility they will file more charges against the boys, in addition to murder and shooting of Fisher.
As the three minors begin their legal battle, Ray's girlfriend mourns his loss.
'How is a little baby going to have a gun?' Russien Cherry asked KETV. 'Either he was already a thug, (his mother) doesn't care -- something, but it doesn't make sense.'
Cherry Ray was a man who would 'break his neck' for his family and she isn't sad about the consequences the three boys face for his murder.
'No, I don't feel bad for them,' Cherry said. 'They did grown-people acts, so they should be treated like an adult.'
