They welcomed their first child together in January, after keeping the pregnancy their own little secret for almost the full term.

And now, Nicole Trunfio and her rocker fiance, Gary Clark, Jr have shared their first family portrait with five-month-old son, Zion Rain, in a breathtaking editorial for the August 2015 edition of Harper's Bazaar Australia.

Shot by David Mandelberg, the famed photographer captured the little family's first moments in front of the lens beautifully, while Karla Clarke styled them to perfection.

Each look epitomised the couple's signature style while a cherubic Zion was simply swathed in a light grey Armani scarf.

'I'm always saying, "People must think we have a really ugly baby, because we haven't shown his face,"' Nicole, 29, said of the couple's choice to keep her precious five-month-old hidden from the public glare.

'But it's kind of the opposite. He's so handsome he would break the internet.'

The country girl-turned-international catwalker gave birth to her first child in the US home she shares with her fiance, without an epidural.

Shot back in May while 31-year-old Gary was touring Oz, Nicole modelled a series of looks, from a buttery soft Ralph Lauren knit to a breathtaking Elie Saab gown.

The sweetest of the snaps shows Nicole and Gary enraptured by their little one, snuggled up under the bed covers while Zion's crystal blue eyes wander about the room.

Taking a moment to themselves, Gary helps his wife-to-be slip into the black Elie Saab garment with romantic lace panelling.

As she stares at her own reflection, Gary attentively zips her up while wearing a very low key in a white singlet, Prada trousers and an Akubra hat.

A consistently successful model throughout her 13 year career, Nicole's star skyrocketed after giving birth.

She told the publication that even more job offers came rolling in 'straight after I had the baby, but I've felt hesitant to take up anything until now.'

She said she wanted to take the time to enjoy her little guy and everything that comes with being a new mother.
