That's rubbish: Jennifer Lopez spent most of her Tuesday standing in trash - and somehow looked good doing it - as she filmed scenes for her new show Shades Of Blue
While standing in a pile of rubbish is hardly glamorous, the singer looked very glam doing so.
To play her character Harlee McCord, Jlo wore a pair of wide leg green trousers with a white T-shirt tucked in at its high waist.
Of course she is playing a sleuth, so the star wore the quintessential detective must have - a long tan trench.

Ouch! No doubt courtesy of the makeup team, Jennifer sported a brig bruise like injury on her forearm
The sleeves of the trench where shoved up to her elbows revealing a rather nasty looking wound.

Ensuring she stayed glamorous, despite being in trash, the star used her time between takes to fix up her makeup.
Unlike most stars, the singer did her own makeup, jumping in the chair and adding some powder to complete her look.
I got this: Ensuring she stayed glamorous, despite being in trash, the star used her time between takes to fix up her makeup
Cool down: The 45-year-old star did have someone help keep her cool by holding up an umbrella and squirting her face with a water mist
Try again: With her jacket on, the star kept getting too hot but luckily her face spritzer was on hand constantly and she also had a small fan
Jennifer, who wore her hair in a short curled bob, was filming her scene with Drea De Matteo.
While she usually plays characters on the other side of the law, the Sons Of Anarchy is also a detective on the new show.
Looking very convincing, the 43-year-old was dressed in jeans with a blue long sleeve top and, completing the look, a police badge and a gun holster.

After their scene was done, an overheated Jennifer quickly changed out of her long layers.
The star ditched her pants in favour of a pair of khaki shorts with a white cowl neck top.
The star also swapped her clunky boots for some flip flops which were gold and white in colour.

Beat the heat: The 45-year-old singer ditched her pants in favour of a pair of khaki shorts with a white cowl neck top
The singer turned actress also ditched her wig, revealing her long hair which she threw up into a haphazard bun.
NBC has high hopes for its new drama, Shades Of Blue, with the program going straight to a full series.
And the network has good reason to think the show will do well as it also stars Ray Liotta, Vincent Laresca and Warren Kole.
The series revolves around a tight knit group of cops who are great at fighting crime but bend the rules - and line their pockets - to do so.
Changing it up: The singer turned actress also did away with her wig, revealing her long hair which she threw up into a haphazard bun
Things turn sour though when Jennifer's character is forced to be a federal informant she has to choose between her blood and the people she would bleed for.
Drea plays tough take no prisoners cop, Shirley Nazario, who uses her hard exterior and brash nature to hide her insecurities.
Shades Of Blue is expected to be on NBC early 2016 with the tagline 'Between a good cop and a bad cop there are... Shades Of Blue'.
