BEAMING happily, he looks like that rare creature - someone who's glad to be at the Dome.

But then underneath the Sunday casuals of check shirt and blue jeans is Lord 'Charlie' Falconer, the man in charge of the whole £628million fiasco and a leading crony of Tony Blair.

And as he toured the attraction yesterday before it finally closed for good, he was determined to leave no one in any doubt that he was having bags of fun.

Joining him - and displaying an equally fixed smile - was Cherie Blair, accompanied by her three eldest children.
