She swapped her native Liverpool for the glitz and glamour of Los Angeles earlier this summer.

And Alex Gerrard looked as though she is already used to California living as she stocked up on groceries from her local Pavilions supermarket in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old WAG went make-up free as she ran errands for the day, making sure to show off her new golden tan in a pair of striped black and white hotpants.

The mother-of-three teamed her shorts with a black cut-out detail top and black sweater, while injecting a pop of colour with a bright red Celine handbag as she hit the food store.

Alex finished the look with a pair of black Adidas trainers, which no doubt provided a welcome source of comfort as she pushed along her trolley, which was jam-packed with grocery bags and beverages.

Tying her hair away from her face in an effortless top knot, the model ditched the make-up to showcase her naturally striking looks in all their glory.

And making sure she keeps her family - LA Galaxy footballer Steven, 35, and daughters Lilly-Ella, 11, Lexie, nine, Lourdes, four -well hydrated in their new hot climate, she exited the food store with 59 bottles of water and 12 cans of Diet Coke.

It looked as though the WAG is also prone to a sweet treat or two as a large box of cookies and a giant bag of Funyan Rings also made up her mammoth weekly shop.

The food run certainly wound up being thirsty work for Alex, as she was later spotted grabbing a healthy smoothie from a nearby juice bar after hitting the gym.

And the blonde will no doubt be feeling more at home now she and her footballer beau have reportedly settled on a lavish new $13.6 million Beverly Hills mansion for the family.

Located just minutes away from Rodeo Drive and yards from where Elvis Presley once lived, the 12,000 square foot abode retails at around $45,000 a month.

Alex, Steven and their three girls moved to Tinsletown after he signed to Los Angeles football team LA Galaxy earlier this year.

After announcing his departure from the UK and Liverpool FC, the football ace admitted that while the glamorous location of his new club was not the determining factor of his move, it was a huge bonus.

Mum on the go: Steven, who previously played for Liverpool FC, admitted the city his new club is situated in was definitely 'a bonus'

‘There’s obviously a bonus of where the LA Galaxy are located as well,’ he told Galaxy TV in January. ‘That will be nice for my family to come out of our comfort zone and try something different.

‘The big challenge is going to be settling in. I’ve lived in Liverpool all my life. I’m a Scouser through and through. I love my city, I love my roots.

'But, you only get one life. It’s important to try different things and it’s also a big thing for my children too; to give them experiences that will hopefully help them develop as humans as well,’ he added.

Steven will make his LA Galaxy debut in 10 days' time on July 18.
