Cristian shines in Big Brother's challenging chill-eating food task... while Joel and Jack crack under their housemates' opinions

Cristian is rapidly becoming the jovial yet sanguine philosopher of Big Brother 2015.

And on Tuesday night the 20-year-old Londoner kept to his 'selfless' mission statement in the penultimate week of the contest - consuming a scotch bonnet to win money for the winner's pot.

In yet another 'selfish or selfless' task, show bosses offered an unknown monetary top-up for the winner's purse to Cristian, Chloe and Jack - the only catch being that they must consumer the fiery chilli.

The trio, who were summoned to the diary room individually, were told by Big Brother that they could win an undisclosed amount of money for the depleted prize purse if they ate a whole chilli.

Cristian, Chloe and Jack were told that they must eat the entire belly-melting pepper to claim the money, and were given a glass of milk and a sick bucket as their only aids.

The philosophical Bio-medical student took-up the challenge with gusto, joking: ‘I'm a quarter Indian mate, I will kill it. Bon appetite!'

Scream if it's spicy: Jack couldn't take the hear, as he uttered an almost undecipherable stream of words after consuming the pepper

Chloe and Jack were less confident, as both were reduced to shouting and screaming as they ate the 'Ball of Fire'.

While Jack screamed and uttered an almost undecipherable stream of words, Chloe shouted: ‘I'm s****ing my pants. Oh my God Big Brother! I swear to God steam's coming out of my mouth!'

Thanks to his cool display, Cristian walked away with £2000 added to the fund, whilst Chloe and Jack felt their suffering had not been worth the £95 and £5 they won for their troubles.

Hot under the collar: Chloe reaction was more vocal, with the Brighton lass shouting: ‘I'm s****ing my pants. Oh my God Big Brother! I swear to God steam's coming out of my mouth!'

Heave! The task took its toll on Chloe, as she was forced to run to the toilet and vomit after consuming the 'ball of fire'

While the low-point of Chloe's day was vomiting in the toilet after the challenge, things only got worse for Jack.

Jack and Joel, who have maintained a strong friendship throughout their time in the house, both came under attack in the house due to their lust for food and fame.

Following a temptation task by Big Brother - in which the housemates could choose to eat a lavish feast of takeaways or add a mystery amount to the winner's fund - Joel found his manipulative attitude at the forefront of his fellow housemates' minds.

Reclining on a bed, he attempted to lure both Chloe and Sam into back-tracking on their 'no' votes regarding eating the food.

However Chloe and Sam, took the opportunity to stop his stirring by launching a blitzkrieg verbal attack.

As he tried to backpeddle and avoid confrontation, he firmly stated: 'I'm not trying to argue.'

But Chloe was incensed by his actions, slamming the 19-year-old by labelling him 'patronizing and manipulative'.

Following her outburst, Sam also became incensed, shouting at the Cardiff lad: ‘You’re so manipulative. You’re trying to purposely get under my skin...for f****s sake!’

After facing a barrage of decimating character references from the likes of Danny and Cristian, the young entrepreneur was left humbled.

Crisitan, however, offered Joel some comforting thoughts later on, telling him him that the housemates only believed his actions sometimes to be manipulative, not his whole character.

Meanwhile Jack suffered even more agony on Tuesday's show, when in Big Brother's final task of the day, it was revealed that both the housemates and the public's perception of his personality were less-than glowing.

Housemates were rewarded with £1000 added to the winner's prize for guessing the public's vote on various character statements.

Both Chloe and Joel won money for the house by guessing that the public had named him as the least trustworthy housemate, as well as, the most desperate to win.

Clearly feeling the strain, and emotional jack lashed out at Chloe.

The 21-year-old Brighton girl was having non of it though, as she bit back, saying: 'The public obviously think that. I'm sorry that the public think that, and I'm sorry that I think that.'
