Party girl Miley Cyrus experiments with glow in the dark contact lenses as she enjoys a night out in Hollywood

Miley Cyrus already goes to pretty extreme lengths to get noticed on a night out.

But the 22-year-old party-hard star was virtually glowing in the dark on Tuesday night as she slipped into luminous contact lenses to hit Sound Nightclub in Hollywood.

Miley accompanied pals Mike Will Made It, John Wall, French Montana, Future & Young Swae on the Drinks On Us video shoot and made sure to make an impact.

The blonde was unpolished with wetlook tresses and smeared pink lipstick - a testament to her rock and roll night out.

But she paid special attention to her late night get up with bold, glittery eyeshadow and a sequinned dress that helped her get recognised in the dark.

By now, Miley is pretty accustomed to the inside of a nightclub and it's not even the first time she's been out this week after she rung in the 4th of July celebrations in serious style.

Miley described herself as a 'hot mess' as she took to Twitter to share her stars and stripes ensemble that featured diamanté eyebrows, red, blue and white make-up and temporary tattooes.

And it seemed that by Wednesday, the pop singer had admitted defeat and stayed in with a face pack.

She captioned a selfie in her restorative face mask by saying, '2 daze been ruff' as she lay out on a white pillow.

Miley's partying ways certainly weren't curbed by her previous boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger, who conversely encouraged them.

But the singer is now dating Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell after confirming that she 'loves girls the same as boys' in a magazine interview.

Stella met Miley and her assistant Cheyne Thomas through mutual friends and the two women were seen passionately kissing during a date night last Tuesday.

Speaking to V magazine recently, Stella said: 'We met through Grindr... Nah, joking. We met through mutual friends via Instagram, which is where Cheyne contacted me about taking some photos.

'It's been a trip to hang out and see a little of their world. Felt very organic and right.'
