Does Ally Capellino's style work at Debenhams?

The piece de resistance of the whole collection was the black mac (£80, left). Roomy, knee-length and expensive-looking with a sumptuous red quilted lining, this item is going straight into my wardrobe. Whether for work or the weekend, it has a classic style that won't date.

Disappointingly, the tobacco brown leather coat (£250), while a great colour for this season, did not look so good. The size 10 was too small when buttoned up yet undone it looked enormous, with overly large shoulders.

The leather jacket (£180) was a better fit, and looked great paired with jeans, but alas the sleeves were too short for me.

For evening Lloyd offers a fabulous slinky halter-neck neck dress (£60) that, while a little on the small side (a 12 was quite snug), flattered my figure.

Perfect for Christmas parties, the buckle detailing on the neckline making it stand out from the plethora of black dresses on the high street. But it would definitely need a strapless bra

The asymmetric buckle top (£35) had internal hidden support which would be adequate for a smaller bust. Worn with tuxedo-style trousers this top is perfect for office parties.
