She is hardly the shy and retiring type.

So it's perhaps unsurprising that Swedish model Victoria Silvstedt was flaunting her figure on the sands of St.Tropez, earlier this week.

The blonde beauty, 40 - who originates from Skelleftehamn - was spotted taking to the beach on Monday afternoon, where she was typically scantily-clad.

The catwalk star emerged in the continental sun wearing a hot pink, sleeveless tank top-meets-crop-top, which effortlessly flaunted her toned abs.

Adding a patterned gypsy skirt to the mix, she also put on a leggy display as the hemline skimmed her mid-thigh.

Capping the look with a pair of designer sunglasses a some floral design sandals, she certainly cut a seasonal figure in the get-up.

However, it wasn't long before she stripped down to an even more revealing look once she found a comfortable spot on the shore.

Removing her ribbed top and replacing it with a black swimsuit, she looked even more minimally-dressed, not least because the look featured a halter-neck design with cut-away panels on both the side and cleavage.

Protect her face, rather than her modesty, with a straw hat - she seemed delighted to be out in force for the summer weather.

Victoria has been enjoying some time in the sunshine, jetting between Ibiza and France as she makes the most of the summer.

Meanwhile, the ex Playboy model, who was once married to news anchor Chris Wragge, is known for enjoying the finer things in life which was documented on her E! series Victoria Silvstedt: My Perfect Life.

However in an interview with Stumped Magazine, Victoria revealed that she often plays up to the camera to live up to people's perception of her.

Explaining that away from the spotlight she enjoys being as casual as possible, Silvstedt admitted that she enjoys switching her glamourous side on and off.

In the interview with Chris Neumer, Silvstedt said: 'I don't wake up in the morning thinking, "God, I'm such a hot chick. I'm such a babe. I want to play it up and live it up everyday".'

She continued: 'Unfortunately the work that I do and the way the public perceives me is that I'm the hot, tall blonde. Of course I play it up. Even in photo shoots I play it up, you know what I mean?

'I work it; I click it on. I turn it off when I go home. Back to being casual and as natural as I can, but I love clicking it on. It gives me a kick.'
