- Professional Ironwoman Candice Falzon, wife of David Warner, dressed their daughter, Ivy Mae, in a miniature version of the gold and green kit
On a grey day in Cardiff, the wives and girlfriends of the Australian cricket team might have preferred to be in their sunnier homeland.
Pictured cheering on their better halves as the first ball of the Ashes was bowled at the Welsh capital's Swalec Stadium, the glamorous-looking collective looked like they were taking the first day of the historic competition very seriously.
It was certainly a multi-generational affair, with three babies in the supporters seats and mums of the players scattered in among the partners too.

As the Australian test squad went into the first day on a six-match unbeaten run, Australian captain Michael Clarke's wife Kyly was front and centre to support her husband.
Leading the pack was Kyly Clarke, wife of Australian captain Michael, who wore a cosy but classic black coat and trouser ensemble with a slick of red lipstick. She wore her long brunette hair sleek and smooth.
The high-profile model and television presenter, who has been married to Michael for three years, announced this week that the couple are expecting their first child.
The 34-year-old sportsman shared a sweet snap on Instagram, writing alongside it: '@kylyclarke and I are extremely ecstatic to announce that we are expecting our first child. Can't wait to meet baby Clarke.'
Also in the crowd was professional Ironwoman Candice Falzon, wife of cricket star David Warner, with her nine-month-old baby daughter Ivy Mae.

The tanned 28-year-old, who gave birth last year, looked chic in tortoiseshell sunglasses while her daughter wore a patriotic green and gold Australia shirt to support her dad.
Earlier this year the model, lifesaver and ironwoman announced that she might not return to the sport that made her famous.
Also spotted were Alyssa Healy, girlfriend of bowler Mitchell Starc, Jessica Bratich Johnson, wife of Mitchell Johnson, Dani Willis, wife of Vice Captain Steve Smith, Rebecca Marsh, wife of Shaun Marsh, and Melissa Waring, partner of Nathan Lyon.
Their support rubbed off on the Aussie team, who got off to a good start- as Australia struck thrice in a lively opening session of the Ashes after English captain Alastair Cook won the toss. It will be a busy summer for the WAGS on both sides, this Ashes series plays out at a variety of venues across the UK, ending at The Oval on 24 August.
An Australian newspaper, the Sunday Mail, famously declared in 2013 that the Australian cricket wags were 'hotter' than the English contingency. They crowed at the time: 'Poms can't bat, can't bowl and...even our WAGs are hotter'.
