Flower girl! Jessica Alba attends the Floral Obsession Ball in Paris wearing a stunning blossom print white dress

Jessica Alba was not just beautiful at a Paris Fashion Week ball on Monday, she also stuck to the event's flower theme.

The 34-year-old actress and entrepreneur wore a floor-length dress to the M.A.C. Cosmetics & Giambattista Valli Floral Obsession Ball at Paris' Opera Garnier.

While the dress' bodice was a solid white colour, its filmy skirt was decorated with pink, yellow, and black flowers.

Her light-brown hair loose and shading into a lighter blonde colour at its lower ends, Jessica wore subdued makeup and limited jewellery.

The sleeveless top of her dress fully covered the Sin City actress' chest before yielding to a high waist covered with a black band and pale pink ribbon.

With its full and floor-length skirt covered with flowers to match the ball's floral decoration, the dress was pretty much perfect for the night.

Jessica spent most of her Monday attending events around Paris and was spotted earlier in the day at the Giambattista Valli runway show, where she had a front-row seat.

Although her Hollywood career is still going strong - she recently returned to her role as Nancy Callahan in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For and had a cameo in the new Entourage film - Jessica's main focus has been her business over the past few years.

The actress set up her eco-friendly The Honest Company in 2012 and quickly saw it grow to a recent valuation of $1 billion.

Jessica has spoken about how raising her two young daughters by husband Cash Warren - seven-year-old Honor and three-year-old Haven - inspired her to set up the household-goods company.

'The reason why I went into business was really to create a safer and healthier world for my children and for all children,' she explained to the audience at the Global Conference on Women and Entrepreneurship in China in May.

'The rise of toxic chemicals in our everyday life has contributed to so many serious and chronic illnesses,' she added.

'I felt someone really needed to make better products that are safe, non-toxic, healthy, beautifully designed, affordable and easy to get.'

When not enjoying fashion or creating a better world, Jessica continues to act - in 2016, she will co-star in the action sequel, Mechanic: Resurrection.
