John Terry has been enjoying his last few days of freedom before heading back to pre-season training by hitting the beach with his wife Toni.

The Chelsea captain took to Instagram to post the snap of the pair of them looking happy and relaxed on their break.

Defender Terry had also taken some time out earlier in the day to enjoy a round of golf with his daughter Summer.

Terry even allowed Summer to drive the buggy around the nine-hole golf course by herself

He wrote in the caption of the video of the importance of having precious one-on-one time with his children

Terry posted a video to his Instagram page in which Summer can be seen driving the buggy around the course.

He captioned the post: 'As you can see I wasn't allowed to drive the buggy. Having this one on one time with your kids is so precious and important.'

There seemed to be an upset on the cards as well, with Summer claiming she beat her dad, one which he disputed with a grin on his face.

The 34-year-old recently posted pictures to Instagram showing his efforts in the gym, as he took a leaf out of NBA icon Michael Jordan's book with a training programme designed by Tim S Grover called 'Jump Attack'

After his efforts last season and his dedication to the cause, Terry will be looking to start the season strongly and help Chelsea retain their Premier League title.
