Now he's cycling on his superyacht: Billionaire Roman Abramovich gets a pair of £1,300 exercise bikes delivered (despite spending the last week riding around Scottish islands)

  • Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich spotted having two exercise bikes delivered to his super yacht
  • It comes after the 48-year-old Russian oligarch was seen cycling around the Scottish Isles on a family holiday
  • The exercise bikes were transported to his £1.5billion super yacht in Oban, known as the ‘Gateway to the Isles’

What do you get the man who has everything? A couple of exercise bikes, apparently.

Billionaire Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been spending the past week cycling around the Scottish Isles but it would appear he wants to keep the wheels moving when he returns to the open water.

Pictures show three men lifting the large RealRyder indoor bikes onto a white boat before setting off towards his giant yacht.

The bespoke bikes, made in America, are marketed as a 'fluid, multi-dimensional indoor riding machine'. Riders are able to lean, turn, steer and balance on the bikes through three planes of motion.

And it appears that Mr Abramovich, who is currently on a cycling tour of Scotland, has taken a shine to them.

The 48-year-old is a big cycling fan, and was recently snapped on the Isle of Bute riding a £3,000 bike.

It comes 48 hours after the billionaire was seen walking his dog with a middle aged entourage in tow, dressed in comfortable slacks, jogging bottoms and fleeces.

Mr Abramovich was accompanied by five of the wealthiest men in the world, including senior figures from his firms and the son of a Russian governor, as he walked his pet corgi on the Isle of Arran.

He is understood to be holidaying in Scotland this week before making his way to the more climatic South of France.

The billionaire Russian's 557ft yacht, Eclipse, moored in Rothesay Bay last Thursday afternoon after making an unexpected stop in nearby Greenock, on the River Clyde, on Wednesday.

He is understood to have been flown to the yacht by helicopter after arriving into Glasgow airport by private jet earlier in the day.

Pictured on a bike ride on the Isle of Bute, Abramovich stopped to chat to a resident and said he was 'enjoying the holiday' despite the odd downpour.

The Russian billionaire and his family are expected to next visit the Isle of Islay.

Mr Abramovich was seen chatting happily with residents who had gathered on the promenade before setting off on his two-hour cycle around the island.

The group were seen taking food with them on their trip, so it is thought he might have stopped for a picnic.

He looked 'exhausted' on his return to the pier, one witness told MailOnline. Another told the Telegraph that he gave a thumbs up to some children who started singing 'Chelsea' before heading back to his yacht, the Eclipse.

It was made for the tycoon in 2010 and was the largest private yacht ever made at the time.

It can accommodate 36 guests in comfort, and boasts a cinema, conference facilities, children's playroom, beauty salon, dance floor, swimming pool and sauna.

The vessel also boasts two swimming pools, two helicopter pads, a dedicated disco hall, around 30 cabins, a mini-submarine, and even a missile defence system.

It has armour-plating around Mr Abramovich’s master suite, bullet-proof windows and a laser system designed to dazzle long-lens photographers.
