Rock royalty! Keith Richards' daughter Alexandra goes make-up free as she displays her model figure in a form-fitting maxi-dress

It seems when you combine the genetics of a supermodel and a rock star make for rather attractive offspring.

And Alexandra Richards, the daughter of Rolling Stones legend Keith Richards and former supermodel Patti Hansen, proved exactly that as she stepped out looking fresh-faced in New York City on Tuesday.

Dressed in a casual ensemble, the 28-year-old model showcased her natural beauty by going make-up free as she went for a stroll in her native city.

The beautiful blonde looked both comfortable and stylish in a form-fitting black maxi dress, which she jazzed up with the addition of a black and white scarf.

Ensuring the look wasn't too monochrome, Alexandra teamed her outfit with a pair of tanned leather sandals and a matching handbag.

The model swept her blonde locks off her face into a messy top knot, which showed off her pretty features to perfection.

Following in the the footsteps of her supermodel mother and sister Theodora Richards, Alexandra has been snapped by some of the world's biggest fashion photographers, including Mario Testino, Annie Leibovitz and Patrick Demarchelier.

She has also featured on the pages of some of the world's leading publications, such as Vogue, Vanity Fair and Harper's Bazaar, as well as the French edition of Playboy.

But Alexandra also seems to have adopted her father's creative mind, and is a successful artist and DJ.

But Alexandra and Theodora aren't the only members of the family who are making waves in the fashion world.

Their niece, Ella Richards - the daughter of Alexandra's half-brother Marlon Richards, a photographer and graphic artist, and Lucie de la Falaise, a former model and niece of Yves Saint Laurent muse Loulou de la Falaise - is also breaking into the industry in a big way.

Just weeks after landing a spot in Burberry's latest fashion campaign, the 18-year-old was recently made the face of Topshop's new collection.
