John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen have never shied away from public displays of affection, and in the romantic city of Florence they're pretty much commonplace.

Which is why the smitten duo weren't able to resist the romance of a late night stroll and impromptu photography session while on the river in Italy this week.

The stunning Sports Illustrated model showed off her daredevil side as she posed seductively for her man as he snapped away, laying down on the edge of a bridge wall.

Showing off her fabulous model prowess and long legs, she reclined on the bridge, braving the chance of a fall off the edge and into the river.

However, she didn't seem bothered as she flaunted her figure under the night's sky and against the exquisite backdrop of the Italian city.

Chrissy sat provocatively with legs straddling the stone bridge before lying down to show off her long legs as she was photographed by the musician, 36.

The stunner didn't seem at all fazed by the fact her short white dress rode up as she laid back, showing off her tiny shorts underneath.

The couple appeared to fly under the radar (despite their uninhibited romantic display) and enjoyed something of a private moment among fellow tourists on the late night excursion.

They'd joined friends for a steak dinner, with Chrissy disguising a 'belly full of steak' - as she described it on social media - particularly well in an all-white outfit.

The couple married in Italy two years ago after a two-year engagement but their affection for one another is still very strong.

John met Chrissy in 2006 while they were shooting the music video for his hit single Stereo and she went on to star in more of his music videos when they were an item, most notably All Of Me.
