Donald Trump has received his fair share of criticism as of late.

And The Simpsons were quick to throw their version of animated shade toward the billionaire.

Homer Simpson finds himself at the centre of the short video as he even takes a voyage through Trump's blonde tresses.

The clip begins with the father-of-three being asked if he would like to hold a sign at a campaign rally for $50.

He goes on to find himself on an escalator behind The Apprentice star as he is locked in a gaze with his hair.

Simpson then asks himself: 'If I touch it will it heel my baldness?' before a few strands grab him in to see what lies beneath the luscious locks.

The cartoon father says: 'Ah, it's so wispy. It's a gravity defying comb-over. I can't believe this was once on his ass.

'It's as blonde as a golden marmoset and also grey as a long, dead donkey. I'm so jealous of all those booby women he's married. If he paid less than a million dollars for it, it's a steal.'

Throughout the psychedelic scene there were funny images in the iconic hair including a Trump campaign poster that changed numbers every four years (2012, 2016, 2020, 2024, etc.) and even the allusive Big Foot.

Perhaps most biting was a tattered Miss Universe Sash and an NBC parking pass with a red 'cancelled' emblazoned over it.

This was in reference to NBC's announcement last week that they are ending it's business relationship with Trump in addition to cancelling the telecast of the Miss USA pageant and next year's Miss Universe pageant, which are owned by Trump.
