A strike by cleaning staff at Mumbai Airport left passengers waiting for their flights amid piles of rubbish.
Passengers travelling in and out of Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport were met with overflowing bins in the terminals and in the bathrooms, and dirty toilets.
More than 1,900 cleaning staff at the airport went on strike on Wednesday, with the action having an impact on amenities available to passengers - not to mention creating eyesores.

While much of the rubbish is the gradual build up from customers, one passenger claimed the workers themselves are making the situation worse.
Speaking to the Mumbai Mirror, Niraj Kumar, who was flying on to Delhi, said: 'The toilet floor was full of tissue paper.
'It appeared that the striking workers had dumped them there.'
Flights are managing to run to schedule however, although passengers will no doubt be hoping they can board their planes even quicker to escape the dirty terminals.
Speaking to FirstPost.com, an employee of the company Krystal, who supply the airport with staff said: 'They have not increased our payments for the last eight years in spite of repeated pleas from our side to do so.'

Airport sources said the urinals and toilets in Terminals 1A and 1B are most severely affected. Around 1,000 of the 1,900 workers on strike are based in the international departures terminal.
Workers are demanding that their salaries by increased from the present Rs 5,000-8,500 average per month (£50-£80) to Rs 12,000 (£120).
Mumbai International Airports Limited confirmed that temporary workers were brought in to combat the strikes.
A spokesperson for Mumbai Airport told MailOnline Travel: 'With regard to the strike, immediate alternate measures were taken to ensure normal functioning of all facilities however, there were minor inconvenience to the passengers. Flight operations were normal.'
