It's been a tough week for Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, as the Behind The Candelabra star's mother, actress Diana Dill, passed away over the weekend.

However, the 70-year-old put on a brave face as he was spotted out in London following a press conference to promote the upcoming release of his film Ant-Man.

And Catherine was right by his side, with the 45-year-old supporting her husband through this difficult time.

Catherine looked gorgeous as usual for the evening, sporting a figure-hugging red dress as she piled into the car with Michael after their meal.

Her long, brunette tresses were styled in loose curls, and she sported a bit of black eyeliner and a soft red lipstick.

Michael looked somber as he was spotted leaving the venue, dressed in a tan suit with a crisp white button down and patterned silver tie.

Michael was pictured flying to London from Los Angeles on Sunday, a day after his mother's death.

On Tuesday evening, he and Catherine had stopped at the private members club for dinner with Michael's Ant-Man costars, as they were all in town for the UK premiere, set to take place on Wednesday.

In the film Michael plays Hank Pym, who mentors Paul Rudd's Scott Lang, teaching him how to use the Ant-Man suit so that he can retrieve Pym technology that has landed in the wrong hands.

Evangeline Lilly and House of Cards star Corey Stoll also star in the movie, which is set to hit theaters on July 17.

Michael is yet to comment on the death of his mother, Diana, who lost her battle with cancer on Saturday at age 92.

Catherine, however, took to Instagram on Monday, sharing an old photo of the actress along with her sympathies at the loss.

She wrote: 'Diana we are so grateful to have had you in our lives. We will miss you everyday. Until we meet again...Love you very much.'

Diana appeared in dozens of movies and television shows, including Dynasty, a stint on ER and a starring role in Planes, Trains And Automobiles.
