The 28-year-old is currently training ahead of her title eliminator bout with Jessica Eye in Chicago on July 25.

The winner of that fight will get a chance to take on either Ronda Rousey or Bethe Correia for the women's bantamweight title depending on the outcome of their upcoming match.

Tate has already faced Rousey twice previously and lost on both occasions, but the second time saw her push the undefeated champion into the third round.

It was quite the feat given that no other women has even been out of the first round with Rousey, who has won her last two title defences in a combined total of 30 seconds.

Since falling to a submission defeat by Rousey at UFC 168 in December 2013, Tate has gone on to win three fights in a row, the latest a hard-fought majority decision over Sara McMann at UFC 183 back in January.

Tate fractured her eye socket in the first round against McMann, but came back to win the next two rounds anyway.

With performances like that, it is little wonder that she has often been billed as one of the most dangerous female fighters in the world.
