'I push pounds!': Drake debuts a new look as he shows off a sculpted chest and cut arms in photo shared to Instagram

Looks like Drake's been doing more than running through the six.

It appears as if the singer has been running, eating healthy and following an effective new workout routine.

The 28-year-old Young Money rapper took to Instagram on Tuesday morning with a shirtless snap that showed he's been putting in some serious work at the gym. His hashtag read, 'I push pounds.'

Along with the increased muscle mass, Drake 2.0 also features another new development that fans are loving: the beard.

The photo shows the scruffy-faced rapper wearing workout pants with his Calvin Klein briefs peeking out as he shows off his bulging biceps, his toned traps and his shredded abs.

Drake captioned the photo, 'early morning,' along with a shout out to the fitness training corporation Push Pounds and the hotly contested praying/high-5 emoji.

And Drake definitely has been upping his workout regime as he has been spotted recently looking a lot less buff.

Just a few months ago in March, the Toronto native was seen shirtless in Australia as he relaxed by the pool.

His muscles weren't nearly as toned as they appear to be now; although the rapper was still rocking Calvin Klein briefs under his swimsuit.

Since the sultry snap - which now has just under 400k likes - Drake has posted some photos of him hanging out with friends at the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London.

After releasing an unannounced mixtape - If You're Reading This It's Too Late - in February, Drake has fans fired up about his next full-length album.

The rapper announced in July of last year that the record would be called View From The Six (Six being Drake's nickname for Toronto because of the city's area codes).

And with no release date scheduled, fans and critics have been wondering what to expect from Six - including rumors of a possible appearance by Willow Smith due to an Instagram the rapper posted of the young singer with the cryptic caption 'Young muse all on views.'
