Grocery shopping glam! Brunette bombshell Nicole Trunfio makes running errands look chic as she flaunts her coltish pins in a summery LBD

New York's soaring summer temperatures hit a new high on Wednesday when supermodel Nicole Trunfio put sandal to sidewalk.

The coltish brunette caused mercury to rise as she breezed about town in a summery LBD with a thigh-skimming hemline that showed off a generous dose of her shapely legs.

The new mother and fiance of Gary Clark Jr., who is of Australian/Italian heritage, brought a dollop of European cool to the American city as she nonchalantly strode around town.

The Pirelli pin-up, 29, is known for her smoldering looks and showed off her taut and trim frame in fashion's favourite LBD.

The strappy fit and flare dress played to the model's tiny waist and accentuated her never-ending legs, while the scooped low neckline hugged her upper body.

Intricate cut out detailing around the neckline, middle and hem, teased at her perfectly porcelain skin beneath and added an elegant edge to the classic dress.

Of course, the fiance of a musician never steps out without a little rock chic cool and Nicole amped up her simple look with a studded leather satchel and flashed her delicate bird ink on her right forearm.

A pair of gladiator sandals finished the city chic styling, while her undulating brunette locks were left down and flew around her shoulders in the breeze.

With a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses shielding the sun from her chocolate brown eyes the U.S based beauty clutched at the remains of an iced coffee, a plastic bag and her mobile phone as she missioned around the streets.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar released online this week, the chocolate haired beauty reveals she gave birth at home and says she initially kept her little boy out of the limelight because, 'I just wanted to be in our own little bubble for a while.'

Nicole appears to have taken to motherhood with ease and regularly espouses the virtues of parenting on Instagram and social media

She has also become a mouthpiece for the importance of breastfeeding and reducing the stigma attached to doing so in public after starring on Elle's June subscriber's copy breastfeeding.

She commented on the experience at the time, writing beside a shot of the cover on social media: 'There is nothing more powerful and beautiful than motherhood.

'The last thing I want to do is be controversial, so please take this for what it is, let us #normalizebreastfeeding there is nothing worse than a mother that is judged for feeding her hungry child in public.'
