As a Brit Ellie Goulding knows how tricky it is to dress for an English summer.

But as rain and sunshine hit Wimbledon on Wednesday the singer scored a fashion hit with her chic outfit for a day courtside.

The 28-year-old paired a colourful mini-skirt from Victoria Beckham's line with ankle boots as she arrived to watch Andy Murray and co in action during the second week of Wimbledon 2015.

The fitness fan showed off her gym-honed body in her thigh-skimming tweed skirt, teamed with a pair of black suede ankle boots with a towering heel.

Ellie tucked a simple black vest into her skirt, with the racer-back design displaying her toned and tanned arms.

The Burn singer finished off her look with a pair of mirrored sunglasses and left her blonde locks loose and wavy.

Feeling chilly? While Ellie looked in good spirits as she arrived she seemed to be feeling the drop in temperature as she slipped on a leather jacket

The star looked in great spirits as she arrived at the All England Club where Andy Murray was playing Vasek Pospisil in his quarter final match.

And even when the rain started to fall, Ellie found a way of passing the time, Instagramming a photo of herself with a glass of champagne in a VIP section.

It looked like Ellie was flying solo at Wimbledon, with no sign of her McBusted bassist boyfriend Dougie Poynter.

The singer recently hinted that a wedding could be on the cards for the love birds, who have been dating since last spring.

The blonde revealed to Elle magazine last month that Calvin Harris, who Ellie recently love matched with her pal Taylor Swift, has already offered his DJ services for their wedding, even though they don't have one planned just yet.

Speaking to the magazine as June's cover girl she said: 'Calvin Harris has already offered to play at our wedding, not that we've organised one. But the offer has been made.'
