Now that Hoda Kotb has revealed the identity of her mystery boyfriend Joel Schiffman, she can't stop talking about him.

'Joel showed me that anything is possible,' she revealed in an interview with Closer Magazine. 'Like, at 50 years old you can have butterflies — you can feel that again.

'At 50, you can trust someone and realize that there are second chances in life. Joel showed me all of that.'

Until a few months ago, the Today host's mystery man of two years was known only as 'Boots' - because the only picture of him she ever shared was a closeup of his footwear when the two were hiking together.

But the 56-year-old New York City financier's identity was revealed earlier this year, the Egyptian American has been gushing ever since.

'Every morning when I go to work, he sends me a text,' she said. 'Right when I’m sitting down, I get a text that says, "I miss you," "I love you." It’s sweet.'

Hoda revealed to the mag they are next planning a romantic trip to Rehoboth Beach in Delaware, but when pressed on whether there might be a proposal coming, she excitedly admitted: “I don’t know! I don’t know!

Both Kotb and Schiffman have been married once before.

In 2005, Kotb married former University of New Orleans tennis coach Burzis Kanga, but the couple divorced just two years later. 

Speaking to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live over the weekend, she admitted she was glad the secret was now out of the bag. 

'You know, I met him a couple of years ago, he's the greatest guy ever. I have to say I feel some relief... because you know what it's like when you know you're keeping a secret.'
