Gwyneth Paltrow looks ravishing in daring red plunging gown as she leads the stars at Valentino's haute couture runway show in Rome
She's the A-list Hollywood actress who's famously an all-American girl.
But Gwyneth Paltrow managed to bring Rome to a standstill as she stepped out in style on Thursday evening.
The stunning Oscar winner looked sensational in a Valentino gown as she arrived for the designer's Haute Couture Fall-Winter fashion show in the Italian capital.

Red-dy for the show: Gwyneth Paltrow led the A-list guests at the Valentino Haute Couture Fall-Winter fashion show in Rome on Thursday
Gwyneth, 42, opted to step away from her classic look to opt for a floaty red number with a very daring plunging neckline.
She made sure all eyes were on the dress - and her fabulous figure - by going without accessories and keeping her hair in her trademark straight blonde style.
The star was one of the big names to take a seat on the front row of the show, which coincided with the main celebration to mark the opening of a flagship Valentino store in Rome.
Alongside Gwyneth was fellow Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton.

Look red hot in a plunge neck gown like Gwyneth
As designers present their haute couture collections in Paris this week, celebs like Kristen Stewart and Lupita Nyong'o have flocked to the City of Lights to view the latest designs.
Gwyneth Paltrow joined her fellow A-listers as she sat front row at the Valentino show in a red plunge neck gown by the Italian brand. We're obsessed with the eye catching tomato red hue and loose fitting silhouette of the maxi dress from the Fall 2015 collection.
Keeping with the luxury label's signature bohemian look, the latest range seemed to be inspired by Greek gladiators, with toga-like one-shoulder frocks, lace-up sandals and ornate embellishments.
Sadly Gwyneth's scarlet number isn't available to the masses, but we've rounded up some strikingly similar styles from around the Web that are. Team with gold strappy heels and look like you just stepped off the red carpet.
Statuesque: Tilda Swinton was also a front row star at the event and wowed in a striking high-neck white creation with long sleeves and draped panels
Rock 'n' roll style: The Oscar winner kept her hair simple, with her blonde locks swept into an impressive quiff
She's a fan: Tilda has long worn Valentino creations to high profile events and premieres
FROW connections: Tilda was sat alongside singer Mika and her boyfriend Sandro Kopp
Centre stage: Gwyneth, who was the only guest wearing Valentino red, was sat right next to the designer himself
Entranced: The actress and the fashion guru were seen concentrating on the pieces coming down the runway
Dolce vita: The Mirabilia Romae collection featured a series of dramatic gowns in dark reds and black tulle and velvet with heavily embroidered detail and handcrafted work
What a backdrop: The models walked around a purpose-made stage in central Rome, where the new flagship Valentino store opened
Sheer delight: Alongside a series of classic red looks, the collection featured daring sheer lace dresses
The statuesque actress glided in to the event wearing another Valentino creation, which was a far cry from Gwyneth's risque gown.
Tilda opted for a high-neck white creation with long sleeves and happily chatted to press on the red carpet before taking in the new collection from the front row.
Socialite Olivia Palermo also attended and wowed in a sensational black tulle gown with a lace neck and ruffled centre-piece.
