Zara Phillips went for understated elegance as she attended Wimbledon with Mike Tindall today.

While her cousin-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge opted for a red midi dress and perfectly-coiffed hair for her day on Centre Court, the daughter of Princess Anne chose khaki slimline trousers and a dark blue silk blouse and blazer.

The Olympic equestrian paired the look with black stiletto heels, rock star-style Ray-Ban sunglasses and a matching clutch bag, wearing her long bob in casual straight style.

By contrast, her former England rugby captain husband was highly-styled in a pastel blue blazer and shirt, which he wore with black tight trousers and patent shoes.

The couple appeared deep in thought as they made their way into the grounds in south west London.

The event will provide the first time the couple can catch up with Prince William and his wife Kate after the christening of her daughter Charlotte.

While Zara is godmother to Kate and William's son George, she and Mike were absent from the royal christening that took place in Sandringham at the weekend.

Look royal in red in Kate's L.K. Bennett dress

It's been a busy few days for the Duchess of Cambridge and her family.

It was her daughter's christening on Sunday and the rest of the Middletons have all managed to squeeze in a visit to Wimbledon. But now it's Kate's turn!

Of course, she looked as chic as ever for her day on Centre Court, shunning traditional tennis whites for a red dress. When teamed with an animal print Diane Von Furstenberg clutch bag and nude court heels, it's classic Kate with a twist.

The dress is from one her favorite brands, L.K. Bennett and we love the fit and flare shape. The midi skirt and elbow-length sleeves make it an elegant choice, and the bold hue will ensure she stands out from the crowd of spectators. Of course she'll be cheering on Andy Murray but the color is a nod to his Canadian opponent Vasek Pospisil too. Talk about dressing for the occasion!

And the best news is it's still in stock (for now...), so follow the link on the right to snap it up ASAP.

Zara has been busy of late, recently announcing that she is launching her own jewellery line.

The range, which will be called The Zara Phillips Collection and is a collaboration with Australian designer John Calleija, will be inspired by her love of horses.

The 34 year old told the Daily Mail last month: 'I am no jewellery designer but I have had a great time working, on this with Calleija.

'I hope everyone enjoys the collection as much as we have enjoyed putting it together.’

The range comprises the Saddle Suite — a line of saddle-shaped rings, earrings and pendants — and the Coronet Suite, which represents the band on a horse’s hoof.'
