It's safe to say that Paris Hilton's new boyfriend was a hit with the family.

Because Swiss businessman Thomas Gross was initiated into the inner circle with a night out in London on Wednesday, following an introductory dinner in LA last week.

The Hiltons (mother Kathy along with her sister Nicky), who are the namesakes of a global hotel empire, headed out with a beaming Paris and her new beau for drinks at Claridge's Hotel Bar.

Kathy, 56, and soon-to-be married Nicky, 31, have welcomed the beauty's serious boyfriend with open arms, it seems, after spending more time with him in the British capital.

Paris was dressed up in a red flamenco-style dress, while Thomas was fully suited and booted in a black suit and matching tie.

As they exited, still smiling from a glorious evening in good company, he placed a protective hand on her leg as they took off for home.

Thomas is thought to be accompanying Paris in London as the Hilton family prepare to see 31-year-old Nicky wed fiancé James Rothschild at Kensington Palace on Friday.

Naturally the well-to-do four piece had picked a suitably lavish part of town and partied in Mayfair in their finery.

Paris is evidently taking her relationship with the 39-year-old very seriously after going for the seal of approval from parents Kathy and Richard.

A source told DailyMail.com exclusively on Wednesday: 'They had dinner with her family in Los Angeles last week.

The perfume mogul has not been shy about her own praise for the handsome suitor and branded them 'Soulmates' alongside a black and white photo of the two on Wednesday.

The two were first spotted together in Ibiza in early June kissing aboard a yacht after first meeting at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

'I've never seen her happier since she met Thomas,' a friend told DailyMail.com. 'They are inseparable and constantly travel together around the world.

She's just one day away from marrying the man of her dreams. But it seems like Nicky Hilton couldn't wait for her impending walk down the aisle to put on a white lace dress and heels.

The bride-to-be donned a Giambattista Valli mini dress and a quilted Dior purse for a night out with her sister, Paris. The floral number was sprayed with intricate beadwork across the midsection - very similar to the creation that Amal Clooney wore just after her nuptials with George Clooney in Italy.

'Thomas is so great for her because not only is he so successful, but he is self-made. He’s not like other men in the past simply because he doesn’t need anything from her but her love.'

And the former Simple Life star has told friends she 'looks up to him.'

A source added, 'She is inspired by him and his success. He pushes her to accomplish more and things are looking very serious between them.'

Thomas is best known in the business world for The Perform Group, which he sold for $100m in 2013. He is still a majority owner of the global sports media company, which is based in the United Kingdom and operates across a range of digital platforms.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz, she said: 'I feel like I've pretty much done everything I've wanted to do. I've done music, designing, TV, everything.

'The one thing I didn't get involved in until a couple of years ago is real estate, and now I'm following in my family's footsteps, opening my own properties - I love that. But next is (definitely) having a family.'
