They're expectant parents, and are clearly basking in the glow of their happy news.

And it seems that Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton might have been given some friendly advice over childcare, as they met with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Wimbledon on Wednesday.

The Hollywood couple had gone alone to watch a match on the ninth day of the tennis championships - their first time out since revealing their baby news - and were sat in the Royal Box on Centre Court.

Hollywood royalty meets actual royalty: Josh and Prince William shook hands as the tennis game took a break, the two suit-clad men in deep conversation

After making a lovely arrival together, with the 26-year-old British actress giving a glimpse at her growing baby tum, they were seen shaking hands and chatting away with the royal couple.

William and Kate are the proud parents to two children of their own, Prince George - who turns one in two weeks - and Princess Charlotte, who was born in May.

So perhaps they were sharing parenting tips with Hollywood star Josh, 36, and Tamsin, who are about to become first-time parents.

They bore huge smiles on their faces as they conversed with the British royals, who had stolen the show on the day while watching Andy Murray take on Vasek Pospisil to fight for his place in the semi-finals.

Kate, 33, had looked perfect in a bright orange fitted dress, her brunette hair bouncing around her shoulders.

And William, also 33, had been a dapper prince in a slick blue suit: he in particular looked pleased to be meeting Josh, who has been a big-screen mainstay in Hollywood for several years.

As for Josh and Tamsin, they were among many famous faces in the prestigious Royal Box for the Murray game on Wednesday: also seated nearby were David Beckham and his son Romeo, Bear Grylls and wife Shara, the Duke and Duchess of Kent, former tennis star Billie Jean King and Paula Radcliffe, to name a few.

It was revealed on Friday that Tamsin is pergnant with her first child, and the beauty was certainly glowing as she arrived at the tennis championships in SW19 earlier in the day.

The St. Trinians actress was accompanied by Josh, as they made their first public appearance together since the proud father-to-be made the announcement about the baby.

Tamsin opted for a sleeveless summer dress which flowed to just above her knees and she paired it with purple heels.

She wore her long blonde hair in a high ponytail and was fresh faced and glowing.

Meanwhile, on Friday the Penny Dreadful actor's representative confirmed the English actress is pregnant with the couple's first child.

The representative told Page Six: 'It’s true and they are beyond thrilled.'

The couple have been dating for just under four years after meeting in 2011 on the set of The Lovers.

Josh and the model turned actress started dating in 2012 around the same time he dated Amanda Seyfried.

The actor has a number of famous exes including Scarlett Johansson, Mischa Barton and even Rihanna.

It's been a busy few days for the Duchess of Cambridge and her family.
