Fringe benefits! Gwyneth Paltrow rallies Goop staff together for brainstorming session at luxurious resort

There's nothing like a relaxing retreat at the spa to drum up business ideas.

And in that fashion, Gwyneth Paltrow rallied her Goop troop together at the luxurious Rancho Valencia resort in Rancho Santa Fe, California for a brainstorming session.

The 42-year-old recently discussed on the Goop blog how staff enjoyed the summer weather while chatting about plans to streamline business.

'A few weeks ago, we made a pilgrimage south to Rancho Valencia, a small-but-mighty resort nestled in the mountains near San Diego,' she wrote.

'While they're known for their gorgeous tennis courts, spa, and pool, there would be (only a little) of that for us: We busted out the oversized sticky note posters and powerpoint presentations and spent two days really talking about goop - both the brand, and the business, and ultimately, everything that we want it to be.'

Topics on the table included buffing up the Goop shop by introducing kitchen products and cleaner beauty goodies.

In addition to new products, it was recently revealed that Gwyneth is working on launching her first ever skincare line, which will be available exclusively on the site in January of 2016.

Gwyneth's lifestyle website kicked off in 2008, but both the actress and Goop have come under fire in the past for some of the outrageously-priced items featured on the site.

However, a $299 moisturizing kit could actually be considered a bargain by the star herself, who is used to dropping serious cash to look amazing.

Late last year, it emerged that Gwyneth's personal beauty regimen costs approximately $21,000 a month. She reportedly regularly gets in some pricey pampering, including New Age Reiki sessions and Thermage treatments.

Still, the mom of Apple, 11, and Moses, nine, insists she's not so different from her readers: 'I am incredibly close to the common woman, in that I am a woman and I'm a mother,' she told CNNMoney.

Meanwhile, Goop has been suffering financially, the details of which were brought into the spotlight recently.

As of October of last year, Gwyneth's vanity project was facing $1,626,295 debt, according to RadarOnline

Not that the Iron Man 3 actress is having personal money troubles. Upon the announcement of her split from Chris Martin last year, E! Online estimated that she was worth $140 million.

Look red hot in a plunge neck gown like Gwyneth

As designers present their haute couture collections in Paris this week, celebs like Kristen Stewart and Lupita Nyong'o have flocked to the City of Lights to view the latest designs.

Gwyneth Paltrow joined her fellow A-listers as she sat front row at the Valentino show in a red plunge neck gown by the Italian brand. We're obsessed with the eye catching tomato red hue and loose fitting silhouette of the maxi dress from the Fall 2015 collection.

Keeping with the luxury label's signature bohemian look, the latest range seemed to be inspired by Greek gladiators, with toga-like one-shoulder frocks, lace-up sandals and ornate embellishments.

Sadly Gwyneth's scarlet number isn't available to the masses, but we've rounded up some strikingly similar styles from around the Web that are. Team with gold strappy heels and look like you just stepped off the red carpet.
